The Radial Air Manifold System is a purpose-designed diver's air distribution device. Manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel, RAMS is multi positioning and ergonomically efficient for the selection and streamlined-distribution of air and other gases to the breathing device, buoyancy compensator, dry suit and other accessories.
All external fittings to RAMS are "Swagelok", the block is engineered and machined for maximum flow, reliability and durability.
The Radial Air Manifold System (RAMS) was developed to enhance the full potential and application of the SOS Marine's Diving Recovery Harness (DRH) but its flexibility allows it to be used on any equipment set-up. Designed and engineered by Karl Price (ex RAN Clearance Diver) and Ross Spencer (SOS Marine), RAMS provides the occupational diver with absolute confidence & control during full & half mask diving operations. This is achieved through the innovative design allowing the diver to select air/gases for various attachments and for multiple simultaneous uses.
The radial design provides various attachment methods to optimise the positioning of the RAMS (clamped or screwed) to suit various harness webbing/ jackets designs.
Multiple sport selection provides for streamlining of hoses, thus reducing the risk of entanglement whilst increasing practical and ergonomic comfort.
RAMS combined with the Diver Recovery Harness (DRH - see picture) enhance and simplifies the ease of dressing/undressing (and if required) ditching of equipment to affect a safe unhindered escape/ascent to safety when exiting from the quick release DRH. |
